Oops, not posted here in a while!
Of course all the puppies have now left for their forever homes and are settling in well. Willow is doing well here also, and is a wonderful addition to our pack! Polly loves playing with her 2 daughters and Lola has been having a blast with her sister.
Now, I am still waiting for my council inspection.. however, if Lola comes into season (due December) before then, then I will go ahead and mate her with my chosen stud dog - he is also called Max and is black and he lives locally. He is an F1 cockapoo, which still makes the puppies an F2 litter. Anybody looking for a specific coat type (eg flat coat) is advised that of course I am not entirely sure which coat types we will get with this pairing, but it will be very interesting to find out and I am very excited. I have met some of Max's previous puppies and they are gorgeous and have fab temperaments.
I have a potential name down already, but nothing is ever set in stone with me until a puppy is chosen from 5+ weeks when the non refundable deposit of £250 is due. If you are interested in this litter, please do get in touch. Puppies will remain at £1200 for 2019. There is a small discount for returning "customers".
If Polly comes into season with Lola, then there is definitely time for a 4th and final litter next year. Her waiting list however remains closed for now.
The puppies are now 5 weeks old and selection has started. So far we have (in order of photos below), Willow (Orange Collar), Maurice (Red), Bailey (Black) and Jake (Beige)!
Pink has visitors coming on Saturday, as does Blue. I currently have Green (a black flat coated boy, at least I think he is flat coated!) and possibly Purple (tan girl, possibly straight coated.. am unsure quite frankly!) available.
Puppies are here!
Polly's 3rd litter of F2 cockapoo puppies arrived safely on the afternoon/evening of Monday 6th August 2018. Mum and pups all doing well so far. Polly has 5 boys and 3 girls! No puppies available at this time. Selection starts from 9th September, any puppies remaining will be posted on Facebook.
To Polly's first ever babies - Pepper, Tarka, Oscar, Teddy, Belle, Mokka and Indie! I hope you all have a lovely day! Polly sends lots of love too, as does your little sister Lola, who looks like all 3 of you blond boys below!!
Polly is getting rounder by the day! Puppies are due in approximately 2 weeks, and we are all very excited! There are no spaces on my list at the moment, but do keep an eye on my Facebook page as I will announce the arrival, post photos and inform of any availability on there later on.
Polly was mated for the third time with Nike in June. I expect puppies to be due around 6th August, ready to leave me mid October. My waiting list for this litter is currently full. I am not taking any reserve names as yet.
As Polly came into season much earlier than I expected, there is a possibility that she has time for a 4th and final litter in 2019. I will keep you all posted and will have a better idea later this year.
Happy 1st Birthday to Lola, Finlay Blue, Lucas, Callie, Poppy, Honey, Freddie and Margo!
Polly is showing signs of a season approaching, so fingers crossed she comes in soon! Her waiting list is currently full.
After much thought and soul searching, I have decided to get Sookie spayed and have no more litters from her. Her first litter (of 3 puppies), she had one puppy with an underbite, one with a hernia and I have recently heard that the other puppy is going in for surgery on his 2 knees for luxating patella. As you can imagine I am very saddened by this as my aim has always been to breed healthy puppies that are a good example of the breed.
The health of all puppies I produce comes above everything else, and this is definitely the right thing to do
Thank you all for your support.
I'm still getting loads of enquiries for puppies this year. My waiting lists are currently only open to family/friends and to those who have been recommended by one of my puppy owners.
Nothing else has changed. Sookie's season is still due around June time, and Polly end of July/Aug/Sept (who can tell with her!)
All dogs are well and enjoyed the recent snow.
Annnnnd my plans are ruined! Sookie is in season a month too early for mating (has to be a year between litters.) So disregard anything about March puppies, it will now be Aug-Sept (guesstimate) instead. Am a bit gutted ☹️ Waiting list will stay closed until Summer, just in case.
