Well, time is flying by! February is upon us and the nights are starting to draw out a little. Unfortunately our back garden is a bit of a muddy swamp, I am so looking forward to the weather improving!
Since I last posted a blog, Sookie has arrived, and we have also added 2 komondorok to our busy family - Trixie and Buddy are Jim's new and much longed for puppies. He has always wanted a big dog, and now he has two! Luckily all 6 of our dogs are getting on brilliantly, and it will be so good for our future cockapoo litters to experience playing with dogs that aren't cockapoos and that are quite a lot bigger than them! Another check box to be ticked off on collection! Polly came into season on 14th November, which was earlier than I had expected. I just hope this doesn't mean her cycle has changed, as we need to wait until a year has passed since she had her first litter, before the 2nd litter is born, to comply with the CCGB code of ethics, and of course the health and welfare of Polly herself. Hopefully she will come into season late June/July, and that will work out well.... *fingers crossed!* I have been inundated with enquiries and my waiting list is completely full, with a reserves list also in case anyone drops out. I am taking no more names at this time. Sookie has settled in well and it is lovely watching her grow. Toby is doing brilliantly, and is just so handsome, I can't wait to see what puppies he produces! Max of course is as happy as he always is, he loves all his new friends, as long as they let him nap! Must sign off now, but I will try and post more! Sarah x
