First meal, update and future plans.

The puppies had their first proper meal this morning, and they loved it! Hopefully this added food will relieve Polly of some of the feeding duties, she has done an amazing job, but they have sucked the excess weight she carried after the birth, right off her! She's been eating like a horse too, which is so unlike her, she is not greedy, unlike Max!

Two of the puppies have a name! Green collar is to be called "Teddy" and Black collar is now known as "Oscar". It's lovely to finally have a proper name to call them by, and I think they really suit them!

The yellow collared black girl has been fully reserved now - she will be off to live with Jill and Keith in Wales.

Teddy (Green) is off to live with Helen, Dave, Luke & James.

Oscar (Black) is off to live with Julie and Ian.

Orange is off to live with Jamie and Sam in London.

Blue is off to live with Michele, Dick, Zolti and Koko in Berkshire

Red has a family coming to visit him on BH Monday and Purple has a lovely couple coming back for a 2nd visit on Sunday morning. I will update availability after the visits next weekend.

I have a Reserves list but it is currently 5 names long. There is already interest in my next litter and future plans, which has blown me away! Thank you all so very much for your lovely comments, I really am enjoying these puppies and the whole experience and am glad it is shining through in my website and emails.

As for my future plans, Polly will hopefully be mated to my new stud dog Toby in at least a years time - depends on mother nature of course, so it could well be later than that, and knowing her it will be... The litter will again be F2's and I would expect a nice mix of colours. I am waiting on the birth of an F1 bitch from a litter due next month, from another Approved Breeder and am hoping that as both parents are red, there may be a suitable red bitch for me! She would then, assuming I am happy with her temperament etc, be mated once she is 14 months old+, which will be late 2016, ready for puppies in 2017. Of course this depends on how long her cycle is between seasons, and timings are just estimated.

Right, I am off to tuck the puppies and 'poos in for the night! I will try and snap some photos and a video of them playing tomorrow.

Night Night xx
